The girls and boys in Jill and Ruth’s Senior Infants have been very busy playfully engaging with their maths activities. We have been so impressed with both their enthusiasm and progress. They are loving the freedom to choose their own methods, ask questions, make mistakes, think for themselves, and share what they are learning with their classmates.
Their infectious enthusiasm for maths has even managed to spread to Candy the Elf who is trying his best to get in on the act.
Please have a look at some of the images to see a snapshot of what they have been up to recently.
Well done Senior Infants!
Pupil/ Parent App – Maths and Me
We have been using a very good maths app on the Chromebooks which ties in nicely with the maths activities that the children are doing. It can be accessed on a smartphone, tablet, laptop or PC. Please scan the code below or click on the link to access it. The link will bring you directly to the senior infant section. If you scan the code, please just select SI (Senior Infants) for the class level. The children can show you how to navigate around it. It is included in the maths scheme that the school purchased this year so please give it a try. The children love using it.
