Elm Green Nursing Home Visit
Children from Isla & Ana’s 6th classes welcomed visitors from Elm Green Nursing Home to our school hall today. The visitors were treated to a brief performance from the children singing along with David, Luka & Sam and the residents enjoyed a nice cuppa with a little treat. But the biggest treat of all was spending time with the children and playing all sorts of games like Guess Who and telling stories. We are sure the card sharks from 6th class learnt quite a bit from our special visitors today as well as teaching them a thing or two! Thank you so much to Marita, the activities manager, Isla & Ana and in particular a special thanks to all 6th class children for making this such a special day for our visitors!
